This journal is published by the Department of Ancient Languages of the University of South Africa and serves as a mouthpiece of the South African Association for Patristic and Byzantine Studies. It promotes Patristic and Byzantine studies and includes articles on the New Testament. The journal is peer-reviewed and continues at the Journal of Early Christian History.
