The Transactions of Congregational Historical Society was first published in 1901, covering the history of Congregationalism in England, and to some extent Wales, from the sixteenth century to the twentieth century. Upon the formation of the United Reformed Church in 1972, study of this area continued in the United Reformed Church History Society and the Congregational History Circle (later known as the Congregational History Society).
