The Evangelical Magazine [1793-1812] and its successor, The Evangelical Magazine and Missionary Chronicle [1814-1912] represent an important record of modern Congregationalist and Anglican church history in the United Kingdom. It was founded as an interdenominational Calvinist alternative to the Arminian Magazine.
